The Mission of the Department is to offer advanced, career-oriented postgraduate and research programs imparting professional knowledge, employability, and life skills, as well as inculcating a vision of community growth and development and strong ethical values

Program Outcomes

Students will be able to appreciate the literary/linguistic developments of different countries and different periods.
Students will comprehend major trends, movements, and ‘-isms’ and different critical/linguistic approaches.
Students will develop acumen to appreciate, interpret, and critically evaluate prescribed texts.
